About Us
The Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC) was constituted on February 21, 2019, to address the unique needs of marginalized communities in India. Historically, these communities have faced exclusion and marginalization, including being labeled under the Criminal Tribes Act of 1871. Following the repeal of this Act, the DWBDNC continues the government's efforts toward their rehabilitation and empowerment. It focuses on addressing the challenges faced by these communities. Its mission is to provide support and services, promote social and economic empowerment, and ensure that these communities receive the support they deserve. Read More..
